Valley View High School's Tiger Stadium officially was named the RGV Bravos' home field on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2009. The modern facility in also home to the Valley View Tigers Class 4A soccer program.
Tiger Stadium, located at 6901 S. Jackson Road in Hidalgo, Texas, was constructed in 2004 and is owned by the Valley View Independent School District.
Valley View's stadium has a capacity of 5,778, and is the crown jewel of the ISD. Its field was recently renovated from a grass field to field turf. The excellent field turf installed at Tiger Stadium is considered one of the best in the Rio Grande Valley.
The athletic facilities also include a Field House which houses home and visitors locker rooms, a state of the art weight room, as well as a rehabilitation center.
